Music has always been a huge part of Lauren Waller’s life, and one of her greatest joys is sharing it with those around her! Lauren’s goal is to glorify God through His gracious gift of music, whether she’s teaching it to others, making music for special occasions and church services, or serving her community. Lauren is based in the Laurel, MD area and graduated with her B.A. in Music Education from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is proficient in cello and piano, is a certified Suzuki Cello instructor, and has offered her services as a performer and private instructor for the past 8+ years. 

Lauren attended UMBC from 2015-2018, where she performed frequently with their Symphony Orchestra, Camerata chamber choir, and various string ensembles. As an education major, she interned in public schools in Howard County, MD, as well as several Baltimore County schools through the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s ORCHKids program. She also served as camp director and general music teacher at the Olenka School of Music in Columbia, MD. From 2018-2023, Lauren taught K-3 music, orchestra, and Suzuki Cello at Rockbridge Academy in Crownsville, MD.

Currently, Lauren maintains a private piano, cello, and voice studio. She strives to help each student discover the joy of making music through assigning fun, challenging repertoire and tailoring to each student’s needs. In addition, she provides her services as a performer and accompanist for weddings, special and corporate events, music recitals/masterclasses/adjudications, recording sessions, and church services in the MD/DC/VA area.
